Living Well Learning Center
In April, 2013, each of two groups of Living Well students completed their first original manuscript. Each group, aided by Creative Writing Instructor Kimberli Hood Easley worked independently to create a story book. Each group brain-stormed their story, wrote it down, planned the illustrations, and completed the original drawings. The two volumes were put on public display at the Gillespie County Library for three weeks.
The local newspaper carried a publicity article about the books and authors. LWLC Instructor Douglas Vargas took a group of LWLC students to the library to see their original books on display.
